Top Twenty Five Remixes of 2010

I started this list with the intention of ranking the remixes one through twenty five, like I did with others. But soon realized that this was not going to happen because I feel remixes occupy the gray areas in music. It’s difficult to rank a reworking, in my mind it’s either great or crap, a visceral reaction. Some criteria can be the quality of the original, distance from the original while keeping the feeling, production techniques or simply much it makes you wanna dance. I have a love hate relationship with dance music, I hate to dance but I love the beats. So, the best I can do at this point is present my favorite twenty five songs in alpha order. There are some serious scorchers here though, can’t wait to listen to this playlist for a while. Enjoy, Craig.
